Um, do you at least ask the original artist before you charge money to alter their work (assuming that link is to your FA)? I wouldn't normally raise any objections to something like this, but once money is involved, things get a little suspect.

Generally the people who are commissioning me are people who have commissioned artwork from others that wish for it to be altered. If its for personal use generally the commissioner can alter the artwork however they please as long as they do so for non-commercial purposes. So commissioning a piece of artwork and putting it on a shirt might be suspect, but someone commissioning me to alter a picture for their own satisfaction / personal use is well within their rights as the commissioner.
@mindwipe Also, how is your parents house holding up? Were you able to get some of the money you guys needed to fix it up properly and reinforce the ceiling?
