I'm a big fan of Steven universe, and I love the idea here, but since the virus doesn't seem to be affecting the behavior of subject, I question whether this is mind control... if a character just had a normal cold, we wouldn't put them up on here

I would take the implication to be the 'no, i'm fine, everything's okay' sorta' response is the virus' doing, personally.
