Quick proof of life sketch. Which version do you like best? If one gets lots of attention, I'll do a clean, shaded version!

I like the green one in the top left, the lights contrast well and the tentacle looks slick.

Bottom-left. I like the blue background and general lighting.

Oh damn, you're back! This is amazing and I very much missed your art. I think bottom left is best

I vote bottom left as well! The colours just speak to me more, but it's pretty fun to see this pop-art kind of thing on the hub.

It may be completely counter-intuitive but blue has been a sleepy colour to me for as long as I can remember. No wonder the circadian rhythm doesn't work on me the way it's supposed to :p

Hahaha, as I was in the process of uploading this I realized the same thing!

Thanks for the responses, everybody! I agree, I think the blue version works the best out of all of them, though Jyohan makes a good point about how the tentacle looks in the top left--might integrate some of that contrast and lighting into the finished piece!

Daytonlion, it's good to be back! Sorry I kinda disappeared for a bit there!

Friye, that doesn't seem so odd to me--after all in movies, whenever you see a dark room they always light it blue, so clearly there's some kind of universal association going on here, right?
