Based on the caption, I think it works as follows:
Mom is/was part of a mind controlled harem of Girl's father. Girl inherited her dad's mind control powers, and used them to turn a girl she'd been crushing on into a lesbian slave. And Mom just walked in on Girl and Slave making love...

Pretty much this, although I did try to leave it ambiguous as to whether Mom was referring to her experience in a harem or controlling one, since I couldn't make up my mind which scenario would be funnier. That way, the reader can see it as whichever version they prefer.

I instinctively read it as the mother controling a harem. First, the daughter has the powers, second the mom knows about mind control which is unusual but not imossible for a slave and third the daughter is a lesbian which is a hereditary trait.
Also, she never speaks of a master once....
