Almost all of my manips are animated. I picked out this image because I liked the art and her pose. If I'm going to animate one part of the image, in this case her eyes, the background will also need to be animated or else it'll just look weird (like some kind of weird time stop shenanigans). It's the same deal with my last image where I needed to animate the fire in the background or else it would be weird seeing a pendulum swinging in the foreground. I could always just choose easier images to manip, but sometimes I want to add more than the standard pendulums and spirals.

you can barely see them. The animation is very shory and the spirals are so soft they're almost completely drowned in Hamakaze's eyes.

No faustian pact here. Whether or not I have a soul is a rather spiritual and philosophical question. I did study animation in college and have years of industry experience though, so that would be why my animated manips are usually above average.
