Title: The Artress Part 2

This is a character that I believe is a collaboration between Gojiro7 & PainfulElegy.

Character Info: Artress the Dominator of Art lives for one thing, to see all people become things for in her eyes the way to live life to its fullest is to be something thats inanimate and free of conscious thought (though the subconscious is still intact) using the nano-bots serging through her body and paintbrush to alter them down to the cellular level until they're something worthy of her twisted sense of taste.

Story: Susan and Mary Test had always been a pair of geniuses, inventing amazing devices that defy logic. Usually they were smart enough to let their brother be the first one to test them, a dopey kid like him being a veritable guinea pig. Their latest invention, however was not something fresh, but rather a revisiting of an old accident they had happened upon: a machine that had the power to open a portal to other worlds. After weeks of study, they had found a world where untold advances in science and philosophy had been long discovered and recorded; a veritable paradise for them. After careful modulation of the control panel and a stroke of the enter button, the machine pulsated to life, filling the room with an electrical charge; a portal rended from the fabric of space and time appearing in the center. Carefully, the two inched their way towards the portal, looking to be certain of its stability. Even they wouldn't send Johnny in if it meant it closing when he was halfway through. Mere inches from the surface of it, the two peered in, hoping to see the other end become clear... only to find a pair of colorful arms emerge from the portal, grabbing both by the scruff of their collars; pulling them back through into parts unknown. What awaited inside was not the dimension they had expected, but some form of strange museum filled with contorted pieces of art, each carrying varying degrees of humanity. The only 'living' inhabitant appearing to be a woman in a tacky, colorful attire.

The woman stood before them, towering over the sitting pair. She looked down at the pair with disgust, "Well, this is a suprise; its not often I find *ugh* humans with the technical knowledge to reach my home. I'll give you credit for that." she tapped one of the two on the head patronizingly "I am Artress... and you have trespassed where you don't belong." Susan was about to interrupt the woman, seeing as it was her actions that pulled them into the dimension, but Mary was quick to stop her, realizing they were not exactly in a place to be catty. "because of your accomplishment, I'll allow you to humor me for a spell by telling me about yourselves and your home dimension."

Susan and Mary ignore the rudeness of their host; opting instead to humor her and tell her all about their planet, family, and inventions in hopes that that she would share her knowledge in turn. Unfortunately, they did not realize that the Artress did not care for their actual discussion, but was rather using the time to have her nano-bots scan their brains. After having rooted out all relevant information, Artress interrupted the twins. "Well, I think I've gotten everything I could need from your pitiful human brains." She scoffed lightly, "honestly, I was surprised to find that some of the data was actually intriguing... so I think you both deserve a reward for that!" Artress swiped her brush across both of them, the ink melting away their clothes. It worked its way deeper, the two beginning to merge together, expanding out. The Artress chuckled, "Normally this would be done in a matter of seconds, but I'll let your pathetic human perspective linger for an hour or so while you gradually shed that useless 'humanity' of yours," she smiled as she patted each on the head, "soon enough you'll be the object you were destined to become. In the meantime, I think I'll pay your home a visit to scope out some more potential pieces." Susan and Mary pleaded with Artress, but she simply ignored their calls; casually strolling through the portal, leaving the two sisters to continue their progression to an increasingly beach ball-like state. Body parts merging and reforming, a half hour of bickering slowly grinding to a halt as their faces begun to freeze into wide grinned smiles. The rest of their 'body' begun to follow suit, stiffening and leaving the girls unable to move.

It was not long until the Artress returned from the portal, several paintings in tow. Many of them resembled the people they once knew, most notably their mother. They tried to cry out to them, but their mouths remained silent. They had been locked into their body, the only choice left for them being to resign themselves to despair. They had little else left to them, but a chance view of the paintings their captor hung reminded them of their one joy: Gil. Their thoughts begun to slide and drift, focusing more and more on Gil; the boy they both love, the ideas warping and contorting... until they begun thinking how much more he would love them now that he could use them to play ball with... that thought continued to echo until it was little more than the singular mantra their mind settled upon; the themselves completely unaware of the decades that had passed since they became non-sentient. Now they collect dust with the rest of Artress's collection.

It's funny to think they did all this in the hopes of gaining greater wisdom and philosophy... though one could say that becoming the forefront on spherical game theory counts for that.
