Apparently the name they gave the version of Twilight when she went big bad in one of the films. Basically her version being Nightmare Moon.

Close, Midnight Sparkle is the evil form of the Twilight Sparkle from the Equestria Girls mirror world. She came about when "Sci Twi" got a large dose of magic in Friendship Games. As of yet we have no canon evil form for Princess Twilight.

Flurry Heart could probably be Dark Heart, Broken Heart... something like that. Cadence’s could be a Dark Crystal joke, maybe?
