Yeah, identity death isn't my favorite thing. I still find this hot, but not nearly as much as if the host's mind were simply augmented into a matching personality as the genie's. I guess "blending" their minds into a single thing is what I prefer to outright identity death.

This isn't even necessarily identity death, at least, not how I usually see it presented. Identity death is usually someone having their mind, personality and memories completely replaced so that they have no knowledge or recollection of the person they originally were. This is more like straight up mind death, another mind came in and has permanently shut down, or erased the mind that was there to begin with. Actually pretty chilling.

It's mostly found in TF and TF/TG stuff; again, just in my personal experience. Which, that right there poses an interesting question, pertaining to how that kind of content is posted here. Are all forms of mind alteration inherently considered hypnosis, at least as far as being allowed on the site?

I'm not exactly sure what is and isn't accepted on this site so I don't think I have much room to argue here, but can this even be considered hypnosis? It's certainly possession, but I feel it doesn't belong here.

I would think it would different or more then just possession
like you say the victim has there mind completely erased and replaced with the mind of another
which leads to the untimely [mind?] death of the victim with the other mind permanently
taking residence within the body.
I may just speak about this with the other mods and see what they think.

but the art is good though.
