My first actual animation, I know it isn't great (please don't look at their hair for too long) but I'm quite happy at how it turned out. Hope you enjoy!

fantastic, AT! glad to see some more sophisticated sfm animations here. only thing i'd suggest right now is gravitating towards the graph editor in the sfm program itself. it's hell to learn but it's more than worth the trouble to make animations look that more lifelike. once again, fantastic

Thanks! While I did make this in the graph editor it's true I don't really understand it, I gotta learn how to make it less stiff.

Anticipation, overlap and follow-through, follow-through, follow-through, is all you need. They are all the concepts for killing stiffness in animation done right.

What program does most people use for these animations? Source Film Maker?

I guess my problem is finding out where to put the anticipation for the next action after the follow-through,
