Dina I love your art! The style is so cute and that way you draw and color is so full of life! Love this comic!
Aww, thank you. The colouring is inspired by old-style European comics, and I'm glad you think it works!
Kaa's lucky. I'd love for a catgirl to sit on my face...
That's not his face, it's his skull!
Do you do commissions?
I'm planning to. I'll let you know on the forums and on DeviantArt when I'm ready to!
I'm surprised Sovanna managed to keep her eyes off Kaa's in the second panel, despite the situation. Still, love your stuff Dina, hope to see more, with even more hypnotized cuties!
Kaa's hypno-eyes aren't actually that impossible to avoid. If you look at the original movie, even Mowgli manages to keep his eyes off Kaa when he's expecting the tricks. It takes a few minutes before Kaa manages to distract him enough to get him to look at him. Shere Khan likewise, beats him down before the gaze can do anything. Since Sovanna isn't GIVING him a few minutes, it's not that hard for her to avoid the hypno-gaze for long enough to make twilight fall on him.

Those are all very fair and valid points! It's refreshing in a way to see Kaa not actually managing to hypnotize his victim! Still, amazing art, a fantastic idea and I really hope to see more!

funny note: From what I've heard, book Kaa wasn't able to hypnotize Mowgli; though take that with a grain of salt, I've never read the book the movies were based on
Been a long while since I read the book...in the early 90s maybe so just saying my memory might be kind of bad. If I remember right you are correct it didn't affect Mowgli like at all. Now the monkeys fell for it. Also if I remember right Balu and Bagerra (doing these names from memory...sorry for the butcher) where not having much success at resisting either. Think Bagerra asked Mowgli to lead them out, no eye hypnosis used...if I remember right. I think it was more a dance, so not like Kaa was trying to hypnotize them just the monkeys. Buy yeah it didn't seem to affect Mowgli at all in that scene and I want to say that was really the only hypnosis scene...man my memory is foggy on that. Someone if you wish please correct me if wrong.
