It's honestly one of the best examples of hypnosis I've seen in a modern cartoon series, and what I've clipped above is only a small part of her trance. I'd have posted the whole thing if it weren't 38 MB large :P Definitely recommended viewing, if only for the delivery of her hypnotic mantra.
I KNEW that reboot had something to do with mind control. EDIT: just saw it. The writer of the show HAD to of have a fetish for that. Mr/Mrs Writer of that episode, I know you’re here, reading this comment.

Thanks for the recomendation just saw the episode. Had my worries with the art style but seeing it in motion was good. Loved the scene with the doctor and the surprise with carmen. Also I like the tease with a hypnosis / subliminal villian.

Dr Bellum provides this, memory erasing visor (with lock-in chair) and a truth compelling helmet. In 9 episodes. She’ll have more MC for us in future.
