It looks like the text bubbles with slime splotches in them, which I assume you mistook for a representation of the adventurer's brain (for some reason?), were actually supposed to make it clear that there were in fact two different liquids being dropped on her.

You do realize that the third panel is just an acid trap that dissolves her clothes, right? She steps on a second trap in that same panel, which drops the actual slime creature on her in the fourth panel. You can see the acid and the slime are different colors, and that the acid is simply running off of her body as the slime monster drops onto her. Unless the source says otherwise, there's no mind control here at all.

This artist has 33 other pieces of possession on here, I think it's pretty easy to infer that it's MC.

Its tagged as possession in the source, put it back.
I still feel like the actual content of the image contradicts that tag (you can clearly she isn't possessed in any way in the final panel), but I know I'll get yelled at by everyone if I don't comply, so alright.

I think the implication is that her personality is trapped under all that slime. I mean... how many possession/mind control scenarios have you seen where they show the original personality abstracted as being bound within the construct of whatever is keeping them prisoner in their own body?
