for TheCrown500 who requested a version without tears - this not only went quicker, but I think it looks better overall, so unless anyone says otherwise, I'll probably delete the other version

first, I'm self taught and definitely an amateur, but here's how I do it

eyes tend to be simpler then they look - have a 2nd copy of the original available, and look at how their eyes are done. then on the copy you are working on
1) clear everything inside the eye,
2) either cut and paste the lid higher, or redraw the lid higher - often with a point/line tool.
3) clear and clean up where the eyelid was, eraseing the old eyeline and recoloring edges as needed, so again, you have a completely clear socket,
4) now you can either cut a copy from the old eye, but I usually prefer to redraw the eye based on what the old eye looked like... again, eyes tend to be very simple, often just a black circle with maybe some white dots for shine, if that

usually I keep the essentials of the eye the same, though in this piece I changed them entirely to look more like the dead eyes of white pearl. You'll often want a shadow right under the lid, so a somewhat thick line of black but at low opacity

certainly, I haven't found the pic anywhere else [actually, I haven't found the original pic at all], but I do got this: this other version, same pose and nsfw with all the naughty bits out. but with some schoolgirl clothes on, is sourced to the tumblr [which would have been fine to take from], and was presumably purged
