They look like they're supposed to be the Chuchus from Twilight Princess, but with black colored slime and red eyes with yellow pupils.

Chuchu's from Wind Waker (or really any zelda game with toon link I suppose)

For the record, chuchus do exist in Twilight Princess, but not like that
