I ended up seeing this movie and I was sorely disappointed that Jasmine wasn't hypnotized. They changed a bunch of new things for the story so they could have done it. At least Will Smith was surprisingly good in it.

I honestly thought the addition of the female servant/friend was so they could have someone else close to Jasmine get the staff treatment, but not even that, apparently. :/

Disney recreated Jasmine's slave outfit from the original and it didn't even end up in the final movie. ;_; i.redd.it/63eqi4tmhgj21.jpg I really hope they filmed deleted scenes with this costume.

How could you expect that? Forgot how Disney butchered Kaa's first encounter in the life-action Jungle Book movie?

I figured they purposefully butchered the Kaa scene because of a real child actor being involved. I wouldn't be surprised if there are people at Disney that know about the fetishism of the scene considering how popular it is. At least for Aladdin the actors are of a legal age so including a suggestive hypnosis scene wouldn't be as uncomfortable to general audience's.
