This was mostly just done as an experiment to see how "animating" in Premiere would work. I'm overall happy with the results, but I had to jump through a lot of hoops to get it looking as good as it does. I think now that I know what I'm doing, though, it'll go more smoothly in the future, and it's certainly easier and more flexible to do this instead of just using GIMP. So I'll probably use Premiere for future manips in this style.

As for non-animated manips, I'm probably gonna stick with GIMP, but there's a huge saving bug on MacOS Catalina that's been causing me headaches for a while. I also have a lot of schoolwork and other things to worry about, so manipping isn't exactly my top priority. The next manip will be out when it's out, and that's all I can say regarding that.

Just googled it. Ribalamide autoazine is actually a brain chemical that activates yuriceptors in the hippocampus, affecting memory. Great attention to detail :)

Really? I just got it from a random drug name generator, and I can't find any info on it on Google.

Not really, no. It's just that, when you're animating stuff, it's easier to work with keyframes on a timeline than it is to work with individual frames. GIMP is perfectly fine for general manipping purposes, but it's annoying for something like this.
