Very few of the brutish, reptilian Ollurund manage to leave Truncatis, their jungle-infested homeworld, and thrive among the stars without being both intelligent and incredibly lucky. Without technology of their own to build spacefaring vessels, an ollurund must encounter an offworlder in their backyard and successfully coerce them into taking them off the planet. Be that a miner stopping by to harvest the precious metals beneath the surface, a scientist intent on studying the planet’s exotic life, or simply an explorer that lost their way, anyone with a ship is fair game. Unfortunately, there are few who willingly take the reptilian aliens along with them, and many are simply killed for a quick meal after being forced into taking an alien passenger.

While most Ollurund use their tentacles as instruments to grab and hold prey, Mozga was born in a region where the reptilian race evolved separately. At the ends of her tentacles are pads containing an array of needle-like spines, though her real talents are in the psychic abilities contained within them. By digging the spikes into the skull of her victim, Mozga can page through her prey's mind like a book. No forgotten memory can hide, and no amount of willpower can stop the reptile from finding what she wants inside her mark’s head.

Having directly copied the pilot’s vast knowledge of the galaxy for herself, Mozga commandeered his vessel and plotted a course for a new life in another system. However, it only took a couple weeks to learn that the ship’s previous owner hadn’t planned for so long a journey. With rations beginning to dwindle, Mozga searched for a place to stock up on supplies. The reptile settled on a lone cargo ship traveling another sector over, and plotted an intercept course.

Unfortunately for her, the vessel’s occupants were able to make a distress call before being overwhelmed…

Kayz made her way down the empty corridor, weapon clutched tightly in her hand. The feline normally didn’t go for every random distress call that her comms picked up, yet this one was too familiar to ignore. The call came from a cargo vessel running a delivery to a planet a few systems over. According to the message, a small, unidentified ship had requested to dock with them, citing only a nondescript emergency. Out of the goodness of their hearts, the crew had allowed the smaller vehicle to dock, and that was where the real disaster began. A four-armed reptilian creature had emerged from the ship, and promptly tore apart the cargo ship’s meager security force. Now the remaining crew was holed up in the bridge, desperately calling for help.

There was only one being Kayz knew that fit the description. Sumrak was what he called himself, and the two had become acquainted weeks after the feline crashed in the lizard’s backyard. At the time, Kayz had been young, barely old enough to legally work on an interstellar vessel. A navigation error had forced the Ultracorporation vessel -headed for a corporate colony that would later fail as a result of their shipment never arriving- into a rough crash landing on a previously uncharted alien world. The lush, jungle planet soon became known as Truncatis by Kayz and her surviving crewmates. It was dangerous, however, and the group had to be wary of the almost endless variety of hostile organisms that called Truncatis home. After surviving the first few days, the group reasoned that it could have been worse, that the fauna on the planet could have been sentient and harder to predict. Then a couple days later they met Sumrak. They called him the Hunter at first, though nobody understood how perfect that name was until after the reptile began to pick them off one at a time. Kayz had witnessed her crew disappearing one by one, and her number was eventually drawn while she was washing herself in a nearby river. When Kayz awoke, she found that the Hunter lived in an underground bunker built by a species that preceded his, and that he had more plans for her than a quick meal or two. He called his species the Ollurund, citing his solitary lifestyle as being par for the course for most adult ollurund. She spent weeks under his rule, degraded and forced to serve as the massive lizard’s slave. It was there that she learned his name was Sumrak, and that he was vastly more intelligent than his brutish form might appear. It was luck that she managed to escape the bunker around the time a band of space pirates were salvaging the wreck of her ship. Now the only survivor, she was picked up by the pirates and flown off the planet, though Sumrak returning to reclaim his property forced them to leave quickly and abandon two of the raiders.

Kayz had served as a pirate, replacing the men that had vanished on Truncatis. She had eventually earned her freedom after four years, setting out on her own as a smuggler. It was shortly after starting her career that Kayz learned Sumrak had managed to leave Truncatis, having built a jury-rigged ship with the knowledge forced out of the two pirates. She tracked him down to a ship he was in the process of raiding, intent on getting her revenge. The lizard had narrowly managed to escape and dropped off the map immediately after.

But now it was happening again. Sumrak was back, and Kayz was going to finish what she started. She had encountered no signs of the beast while she made her way to the bridge, and it was starting to get to her. Once she had found the crew, then she might have a bit more of a chance against him. If they were still alive.

She stopped in front of a sealed, metal door. “Command Bridge” read the small sign mounted above the entry. Kayz holstered her handgun, the blue glow fading out as the electric weapon shut off. She reached out to a small terminal mounted on the wall, tapping the screen a few times to wake it up. “Hello? Is anyone in there? My name is Kayz. I’m, uh, something of an expert on the creature that’s hunting you.” The feline spoke into the speaker, doing her best to make eye contact with the camera. Odds were they wouldn’t even be able to tell under the heavy visor of her suit. It was meant for EVA after all. She took a quick glance over her shoulder, just to make sure Sumrak hadn’t gotten the jump on her.

“Uh, you...you are?” Crackled a terrified voice through the speaker. He didn’t seem all that reassured.

“Yeah.” Kayz replied quickly. “The closest to an expert you’re going to get, anyway.” She thought to herself. “I need you to let me in so we can figure out a plan to take that fucker down.” The feline could hear the person on the other side tapping at a keyboard, clearly fumbling with it a few times.

The door made a metallic clack as it unlocked. “Alright...it’s open. I’m...I’m sorry.”

“For getting me involved? Don’t worry, it’s my goddamn pleasure.” She murmured, hitting a button and watching the door open.

Kayz could see three figures inside, sitting in a group with their chairs all pulled close. A fourth was standing at the comms panel, watching the feline with terror in his eyes.

“Alright, so I’m not letting him get away this time. You guys don’t have to be out there searching for him with me, but I will need you monitoring the different camera feeds aboard the ship, and if you have access to remotely locking the doors, that wouldn’t hurt either.” She explained, taking a moment before noticing how they were just shaking in place. Not only that, but all of them either had bandages around their heads, or were bleeding from their temples.

Before Kayz had the chance to ask, an arm wrapped around her stomach and the floor fell away from beneath her. She was being hoisted up by something! “Hey!” The feline yelled, struggling and kicking as she tried to get a look at her assailant. She tried to get to her gun, but before she could pull it from the holster, she was thrown forward. For a second the feline was weightless, the room reduced to a blur around her. Then she crashed into one of the control panels past in a shower of sparks, the wind knocked out of her lungs. Kayz tumbled to the floor, gasping for breath as warnings and alarms went off inside her helmet. She managed to get to her hands and knees, looking over to finally gaze upon her attacker. It...it wasn’t Sumrak. It was an ollurund, that was for sure. It had four arms, the pair of tentacles, just about everything that made the alien lizards unique. But its scales were a light blue shade, and its...no, her chest swelled outward. She didn’t know how that worked for the reptile, but right now wasn’t the time to question it. The ollurund rushed forward as Kayz went for her gun one more time, only to be grabbed roughly by the neck and pressed against the panel. Kayz’ legs dangled off the ground, her whole position just a bit uncomfortable.

“I’ll give you two chances to use that gun. The second time you’ll be trying to fire it without any arms, so I’d think very carefully about going for it.” She hissed, her words as plain as day. The feline let her arm go limp, shifting away from the holstered weapon. The lizard reached down, pulling it out of the holster and examining it while still holding Kayz down. “This one isn’t common, is it? At least…they’ve never seen this gun.” She murmurs, glancing over at the remaining crew. “In fact...I bet you know a lot of things they don’t, so why don’t we take a look?”

The lizard set the handgun back into the holster and threw Kayz to the ground, where she sprawled out with a grunt. Kayz rolled onto her back, starting to scoot away before a heavy foot planted down on her chestplate. The sharp talons at the edges of her toes clacked against the metal armor as she thought about what to do to her latest catch. Realization flashed across her face for a split second before she glanced down. “This isn’t all just gibberish to you, is it?”

“Nngh...fuck you.” Kayz grunted. Sumrak had injected nanobots into her that were capable of translating his speech in real time. It seemed the ollurund dictionary had become embedded in her head as a result.

“Interesting. They had to take a crash course, and they look like they barely survived it.” She chuckled. “I wonder where you learned Ollurish? You did say you were an expert on my species, didn’t you?”

Kayz didn’t respond, hoping her helmet could mask the fear displayed on her face. A few seconds later, she grunted in pain as what little air she had gathered in her lungs was slowly pushed out. The ollurund woman was pressing down on him, making the feline’s armor crack and groan under the stress of her foot. “Agh! Fuck! Truncatis! On Truncatis!” She gasped out with the last bit of breath she had.

The pressure let up as the alien stepped off. She knelt down over Kayz, examining the helmet next. “Truncatis? Elaborate.” She commanded, hooking a finger underneath the chin of the helm and tilting it up. She adjusted her grip, starting to pry at the leopardess’ headgear.

The warnings lit back up on her HUD, the seal now dangerously close to breaking. “Jungle planet. Your homeworld!” Kayz replied quickly. The feline was silently scrambling to come up with a way to escape, though her plans were all pointing towards going for her gun and blasting like her life depended on it.

“Ahh, yes. I believe I’ve heard stories of your visit. Unfortunately, I wasn’t close enough to grab one of your people for myself at the time. But here you are.”

“Yeah...here I am.” Kayz hissed, quickly wrapping her hand around the pistol’s grip and yanking the gun free. Unfortunately, her attempt was caught too quickly to be of any help. A hand slammed Kayz’ arm to the ground with enough force to make her drop the weapon. It clattered onto the floor, sliding harmlessly out of reach.

“Do you think I would have given you back your gun if I thought you were capable of hurting me with it?” The reptile asked. She didn’t wait for a response before wrenching Kayz’ helmet off. The synthetic fabrics forming the seal around his neck ripped apart, separating the helmet from the rest of the suit. The feline was exposed now, vulnerable.

“Come on now, on your knees!” The lizard dragged Kayz into a kneeling position, two of her arms holding Kayz’ own limbs in place. She hadn’t even used her tentacles so far.

“I am Mozga, and you already know what I am. If you hadn’t tried to fight, I was going to let you share your secrets at your own pace. But for your insolence, we do it at mine instead. I want to know about the other ollurund.”

“Well…” Kayz grunted, “...we became just the best of friends after he pulled me out of-” Her sarcastic reply was cut short by a shriek of pain. It felt like she had been jabbed with a few dozen tiny knives, and the side of her skull was on fire as a result. “Nngh, what the fuck are you doing!?” The feline hissed, though she didn’t try to pull her head away out of a fear that it would just make everything worse.

“Good girl. Sit still, and I’ll consider keeping your arms attached to your shoulders once I’m done. I warned you about the gun.” She laughed, shooting Kayz a mean, toothy grin. Then she quickly lined up the other tentacle and slapped the pad onto the other side of Kayz’ head. Another bout of the stabbing pain shot through the leopardess’ body, forcing her to keel over and shudder in the ollurund’s grip. She slowly righted herself, breathing heavily through clenched teeth as the pain began to slowly subside. The lizard’s tail slowly wormed between Kayz’ legs, pushing up against the feline’s lower lips. Unsurprisingly, Kayz barely noticed.

Kayz was just getting used to the irritation of having a few dozen needles in her skull when Mozak went to work. If she thought that was bad, it was nothing compared to the psychic torture being inflicted upon her now. One more wave of searing agony pulsed through Kayz’ head, though this time it seemed like it was coming from the inside of her skull. Thoughts resurfaced inside her head without her control, memories she had forgotten returning to the front of her mind. The word “Sumrak” echoed in her brain as her time on Truncatis played out again. Her entire time living with the first ollurund was reviewed in agonizing detail, right up until the pain abruptly ceased. She fell forward, gasping for breath. Kayz was shaking now, her body not sure how to react to the intrusion. Warmth trickled down the sides of her head, staining her gray fur red.

“It seems he treated you well.” She chuckled. “Compared to any other ollurund, that is.”

Kayz let out another gasp as she felt the lizard’s tail start to rub against her nethers with a certain intensity. Everything the ollurund was doing was on purpose, and it seemed she was content violating both her prey’s mind and body. “F-fuck…” Was all she could manage to stammer out. The feline could feel the lizard paging through her head, casually thumbing through her memories like she was searching for a specific passage in a book. Having reviewed the entirety of Kayz’ time on Truncatis, the ollurund moved onto more recent memories. She watched Kayz be rescued by the space pirate crew led by Terra Ripley, saw a condensed version of the years she spent serving beneath the shark, then onto her time as a smuggler.

“Oh, I get it. You’re going after me because you regret letting your Sumrak escape the first time.” She taunted, playing through Kayz’ memories of facing down the first lizard alien aboard the wreckage of the Vanguard. Her tail continued to slide back and forth, teasing her prey even further. Kayz struggled a little, but it was too hard to put any real resistance in at this point. “I’m more interested in your ship. It looks much bigger than what I arrived in, so I don’t think you’d have any trouble accommodating me.” Mozga continued, enjoying the sensation of the wetness that was leaking through the feline’s suit. “Let me just…” She trailed off as Kayz forcibly remembered the passcode that would unlock the doors into the ship. “There we go…” She murmured proudly. “But do you know something, Casey? I’m not limited to your past. I can feel everything about you. I feel your fear like I felt theirs, I see the hundred ways you're anticipating you’ll die at my hands. I can even feel that anger. Your mind is starting to shut down, but in every neuron that’s still firing, you’re already swearing your revenge. But it’s getting hard to focus, isn’t it? Especially with…this taking up your precious strength.” She whispered, pushing her tail hard against the feline’s slit. Kayz shuddered as the synthetic fabric of her suit pulled tight against her cunt in response to the scaley appendage that was almost trying to push in. “I can feel every bit of pleasure you’re getting from this, no matter how much you try and ignore it.” Mozga grinned, pushing even harder still. Even through the fabric Kayz could feel the ridges and bumps on the lizard’s tail as they dragged along her sensitive clit. The cat let out a soft moan, unable to keep quiet. Her tail shifted back and forth, dragging the same series of bumps between her legs again and again. “You can try not to give me the satisfaction, but I know you’re enjoying some part of this.” She taunted, pressing up against Kayz harder. There was a wetness staining through the feline’s suit, her arousal now plainly visible. One of the alien’s hands reached down, tugging the front zipper down and exposing a breast to the air. Her hand curled over the feline’s tit, groping and squeezing it as more sparks of pleasure rippled through Kayz’ mind.

A familiar sensation drew Mozga’s attention away from the feline’s chest. “You’re getting close.” She commented, starting to pick up the pace of her teasing. Her tail ground against Kayz’ cunt with increasing vigor, making sure to press right up against her clit. The whimpering groans made it clear that Mozga was doing her job well, to say nothing of the pleasure exploding inside Kayz’ head. It was easy for the lizard to tell exactly what brought her prey the most pleasure, and every little movement was meant to work the cat closer to orgasm.

“Nngh...mmm...” The leopardess groaned, her legs starting to shake. She couldn’t hold it off any longer, no matter how much she tried. She couldn’t even distract herself, as every attempt to think of something else only resulted in Mozga forcefully redirecting her thoughts to how good she felt. “F-fuck...fuck y-you…!” She stammered out as a wave of pleasure washed over her. Her excitement soaked between her legs, and her eyes rolled back in her head as she came. Overloaded with pleasure, the feline was effectively rendered brain-dead for just a few seconds. When she woke up from her daze, she found the lizard was still holding her up, her head still casually being combed through all the while. She was limp, though the spines buried in her skull and the reptile’s strong arms kept her upright.

Kayz winced as the needles all pulled free at once. Blood trickled down her head and dripped to the floor. She wasn’t really surprised to find that she didn’t have the strength to support herself at the moment, and simply flopped forward onto the cold, metal tile with a grunt. Her mind was clouded, surrounded by a thick haze that sent aches running through her skull when she tried to reach through. She stared ahead blankly, trying to use as little of her mind as possible to keep the headache at bay. The pleasure from her climax took up most of what little space was left in her head, so thinking at all was just about impossible.

“See, things go better for the ones that sit still.” Mozga remarked, casually wiping the blood off one of her spiky tentacles. She glanced down to see the kit slowly trying to get on her hands and knees, and despite the great effort it was taking, she seemed to be succeeding. “Oh no, I don’t need you walking around just yet.” She scolded, pressing a foot onto Kayz’ back and forcing her back onto the ground. “No, I need you in shape to fly that ship of yours before anyone capable of actually killing me arrives. So go to sleep, kit, and you’ll find me when you’re ready.”

Kayz was in no condition to argue that. Trying to analyze those words any deeper than surface level hurt her head, and in the back of her mind she couldn’t deny that she wanted to obey. Whatever that mindrape was, it was exhausting. The feline closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep, helpless to stop the ollurund from finishing off the crew members that had outlived their usefulness as bait.

Kayz awoke with a start, though the headache persisted. This time it wasn’t as bad, and the fog seemed to have lifted slightly. She slowly rose to her feet, hands against the wall for support. There was still a moderate haze over her mind, and the feline knew she wasn’t back to her full mental strength. Kayz limped over to the bridge entrance, clumsily tapping at the monitor and unlocking the door. It slid open, and the cat couldn’t stop herself from stumbling back. In both her time as a pirate and as an alien slave, she had seen some grisly sights. It didn’t stop her from being sickened by the corpses of the crew she had came to save. Missing limbs, bite marks in various places, even sizable chunks gnawed off, it was all a grotesque mess. It was like the alien had sampled a different part of each one, as if Mozga was still trying to figure out the best cuts that the crew had to offer.

“Fucking goddamnit!” Kayz yelled, kicking her fallen helmet with all the strength she had. She didn’t bother recovering the helmet. It was ruined, anyway. She simply turned around, drew her gun, and limped back down the empty corridors to her ship.

The airlock door slid open, and Kayz lurched back into the familiar interior of her vessel. “Undock and get me away from here.” She called out to the AI that ran her ship while she was away. It chirped an acknowledgement, and the ship rumbled to life seconds later. With the Nomad already in the process of leaving the cargo-ship-turned-mass-grave behind, Kayz collapsed onto the couch.

Her eyes had barely closed before darting back open, a chill running down her spine as a familiar voice spoke from behind her. A pair of scaly hands wrapped around her head, tilting her back to stare into the ollurund’s cold eyes.

“We’re going to be making a detour. Cooperate and I’ll think about looking in your head for instructions on how to use your food synthesizer. Or fight, I don’t mind. You look like you’ll hold me over until we arrive.” Mozga hissed softly, lips curling into a cruel, toothy sneer. The feline could only hope their destination arrived quickly.
