No. Not every single hero and villain character needs to have their real name tagged.

In which case, those specific characters (that are a different person) behind the super hero/villain identity get their own names tagged.

Isn't that the same deal with Selina Kyle being catwoman's real name?

It shouldn’t be that. It should just be catwoman.
Again, it mainly applies to hero or villain characters with a name that’s different from their original identity.

Example: Miles would be tagged as both spider man and miles, while peter parker would only be tagged as spider man.
