May would have to trade for one, but Bulbapedia tells me they were in a "Cerulean Cave" in RedBlue. Shame I can't do Hypno stuff in Emerald, it's the one I've actually played.

Yes they were indeed in Cerulean Cave, but considering that is the final dungeon of the game and your ultimate goal in there is to get and probably catch Mewtwo most people just ignored them lol. That and they probably caught a Drowzee back in Cerulean City and had probably evolved it by then.

You can catch wild Hypno in Omega Ruby using the dex nav.

There was this one part in Fire Red and Leaf Green where you had to save a little girl from a wild Hypno. My headcanon is that this is the same one that fucks all the Pokegirls in hentai~
