There are always some unseen hurdles when one is possessed by a new Persona. Sometimes the Avatar doesn't match its wielder's form, and depending on the power of that Avatar, it may overwrite some aspects of the wielder. A growth in muscle, or a more agile frame... or huge gazongas that jiggle with each high heeled step...
