I'm not even convinced it counts as a trance at all given the tear in the last image. They've just mutilated her without anaesthetic.

MC doesn't have to be of the mind-wiping variety to be mind control, nor does it's completion have to be shown for it to be mind control art.
Silly semantic arguments aside, oof, this is excellent. The way she goes silent after the third panel is top-notch. Could definitely go for more stuff like this.
