I figured I could show off a CG set I had made here, which depicts one of the non-consensual hypno scenes in my visual novel, Penlight. This gif I made of it is a bit limited, lacking the simple penlight animation and all the dialogue, but I think it stands well enough to get the mind control vibe across without that context.

So here we see the girl Hiroko angrily confronting the protagonist, who manages to talk her into a hypnotic trance while trying to calm her down with the help of his penlight. Her fists subtly unclench as she looks up, distracted by the light, before ultimately being compelled to close her eyes and drift away in her mind while he holds a steadying hand to keep her from falling over. Finally her eyes reopen, this time blank and lifeless, as she is compelled to focus only on his voice in her head and go along with whatever he tells her.

I remember a happy trance in the villain path. And I think there's eyes roll in the Consensual Sayori's path. There's also both consensual and not consensual paths in the game.

I think this Hiroko's trance face is one of the best in the game, along with the surprised Nozomi's expression you use as profile picture on Hypnopics Collective. :3

The game in general is amazing, by the way. Especially the story.

Yeah like Waldo said there's one brief scene where a girl looks happy in trance, more specifically towards the end of the villain path where he's making everyone devoted to him. It's a Kilgrave smile kinda thing. Most of the hypno scenes feature sleeping or open-eyed expressionless trances.

As for drooling, there's one reference to it but nothing visual, but I think I do need a drooling effect for at least one of these girl's CG sets, because one of the new scenes I wrote pretty much demands one xD

Mhm, I'm really happy with how this one turned out~ And yes, I fell in love with that Nozomi face the moment my art guy showed me!

Eh.. Sure I like the story, but the bad endings (excluding endings where MC lost) are unrealistic in how it's portrayed as a bad thing and not what he desires.

Would you ever be willing to adding in some sex scenes to the game and make it a full on erotic visual novel? I only ask because I love this game and this is exactly the type of mind control mayhem that I love.
