Now that I have researched the differences I can speak without seeming a fool.
The woman in the picture up there is in fact Mia Fey. I'll even say it is Mia and not possessed Maya because of the hair. When Maya is being possessed by Mia she has black hair in a top-knot.
Lana has light brown hair which falls down both shoulders. Mia's is darker and is all on one side. In my original post I got the color of their scarves mixed up but Lana has a red scarf, Mia has a yellow one.
Also the official text for the game TOTALLY has Lana say that she was attracted to Mia in college. Her younger sister hastily adds that it was "intellectually" but the internet is probably full of Mia/Lana due to that translation.
