clarity i guess?
as a person with ocd it would drive me up a wall if only one speech bubble was labeled so...maybe the artist felt the same? who knows.

When I see this, all I can think is that the artist was given the script and didn't realize the character's names were supposed to be removed from the lines. I've never seen it except in a handful of commissioned pics on this site.

Might be because the hypno is non-obvious without referencing the character domming her. Hell, since I don't know the source material i thought this was non-hypno until I looked it up.

Yeah, if you don't know it's Kyria talking, it comes across as just Erza being tortured, which wouldn't be the second... third... fourth... (yikes) time it happened.
