found this little gem on deviantart. the description reads as follows :

"I thought it would be interesting if Izanami would temporarily take control of Yu/Souji's love interest to mess with him, hammering the subtle implications of the Izanagi/Izanami myth in further by forcing him to fight said love interest and a fascimile persona resembling Izanagi in a difficult single battle. You'd have had the option to run, like Izanagi did in the legend, but doing so would permanently reverse that Social Link. If you didn't have a love interest, she possessed Nanako instead."

the artist "Ai-wa" doesn't normally come here so I decided not to tag him/her. Hope this is okay.

on a side note: Why didn't this happen in the game!? it would have been so cool!

In any case, that sounds like the sort of idea that I'd come up with. And I have never played the game. :P I like it.

I just thought since the artist wasn't someone who regularly came to the site as far as I knew, I didn't feel the need to tag him/her. in hindsight though, that's kind of a stupid reason not to tag it. I will add it now

This is a pretty cool picture. I really like the idea, although I will say that Naoto and Yukiko's faces don't really do it for me.

Reminds me that I still have to beat the game after I stopped playing half way through about 2 years ago. Guess it's time to watch some of hiimdaisy's videos on youtube to get in the mood (if you played the game you HAVE to watch them, one of the best game parodies/cartoons EVER) and start the game over again.
