Should we make a distinction between Chaoscroc the artist and Chaoscroc the character?

Vanndril's vehemently against any original characters being tagged, regardless of how frequently they appear in art (though he's apparently made an exception for Hypno-tan). So, if the "chaoscroc" tag in this case is just for the character, it should be removed. Unless you can convince Vanndril to allow character tags for OCs that appear frequently.

Oh, by the looks of things we already have a chaoscroc_(character) tag. I personally think we should make an exception for oft-used original characters, but whatever. If you want to remove the tag, feel free.

I made that character tag before Vanndril told me his stance on OCs. I actually thought he was gonna delete it. I think the problem is just deciding where to draw the like for OCs. I'd be fine with characters like Chaoscroc and Solaris getting their own tags, as they've kinda made a name for themselves in the fetish, but beyond that, it becomes less clear.

This. Where do we draw the line and how do we keep track of where OCs are in comparison to the line we draw? There was no solid answer to these questions, and tagging every OC would be borderline insanity, so we decided to keep any character not involved in a commercial copyright untagged, thus excluding OC tags. If a solid, easy-to-follow line were to be drawn, I'd be all for them, though.

That said, Solaris has his own pool. When we made the decision to disallow OC tags, we figured that there was no problem with pools being made for them, instead. I mean, that's pretty much what pools are for (aside from manga/sequences); grouping images that share a specific similarity, which in the case of OC pools would be the involvement of said OC.
