Well, when a genie is a gorgeous grils, you should already know there's a catch somewhere, espacially when her name is "Twist"...
Which is why I was expecting a Monkey's Paw situation. But that is the cheapest cop out I've ever seen when it comes to wishes backfiring. The literal only way that could even fucking work is if the Genie doesn't understand how second person pronouns work. However considering she says "if that is your wish" when addressing the MC, she clearly DOES understand second person.
When it comes to Monkey's Paw, the way to handle it is to have the wish poorly worded, and then have that phrasing backfire. "I want to have sex with you" for example, could have EASILY turned into this exact situation. "You are my sex toy" does not, per the previous cited reason of second person pronouns.

While I understand what everyone has said... I think the answer is a bit more simplistic. I believe the intent was, the genie repeats the wish as stated, thereby turning the tables, which I think is fine in theory... though I think it would have been better to put it front and center, like... "She smiled back and said, 'Very well... You will be my sex slave. You will be my eternal toy.'" Then cue surprise, etc.

In my terms genie's are just A holes, turning you words against you in anyway they can even to a point of acting like one of those kids in school who always turned your you's and I's against you. In wishing terms I always think you need to be extremely specific. Like my version of the kids wish would be "I wish that Twist the Genie on planet earth in the US in the milky way galaxy in this dimension would be a sex slave to the person who owned the account Bipp on hypnohub on planet earth in the US in the milky way galaxy in this dimension" Like that extremely specific. But if you don't like it it's fine, I see where you're coming from, I'll look into monkey's paw wishes later, see what else I can do with genie's.

Genies don't actually exist, they don't actually work at all. That's how you'd want/think they'd work, IF they did. Surprisingly, not everyone has the same perspective on fictitious fantasy.
Again, I think it could have been better executed, but I don't think it was THAT bad. Another thought would be for her to reveal herself to be a djinn, rather than a genie... Some lores and stories literally treat them as equivalent to each, it's not uncommon for djinns to be malevolent tricksters (that willfully twist and pevert wishes) or worse, with genies, by contrast, being more kindhearted, playful, and/genuine (and fulfilling wishes as intended).
But someone thinking a genie could be tricksy, as Bipp INTENDED, is not a new or odd theory...

Yes. Thus why I keep bringing up the Monkey's Paw. However as assholish as Genies are portrayed they have to stick to the wording and phrasing of the wish as they understand it. Considering the Genie says the phrase "your wish" she understands second person pronouns, which means she fully understood the phrasing of the wish.
