She didn't open her eyes immediately.
The bed where she lay down was warm and comfortable.
It's not unusual, after spending a wild night with her conquests and servants to feel content and relaxed the following morning.
But today was different. As her bed was rocking back and forth, inviting her to let go of all her cares, she realized that she has no memory about her previous night !

This strange feeling, along with a melodious hiss and the sensation to be observed, finally managed to make her open her dark eyes.
The first thing she wondered was why did she woke in an environment implying she was far from Egypt, far from her palace.
The second was the presence of a familiar creature, and then, she quickly understood the weirdness of the scene.

"Ssshhhh ... It'sss jussst a dream ... !"

Why did she hesitated ?
Isn't she experienced enough to know that self doubt is the best way to fall ?
Didn't she used this stratagem enough in the past to be immune to it herself ?
And how did she ended up in this jungle ?

But those futile interrogations slowly vanished. She understood that she was confronted to a immense power.
It was seducing her, and she wasn't inspired by any need to control it, or turn it to her advantage.

The following day, she'll wake up at the same place, and won't have any memory of the shocking profanation that happened to her sacred body and great mind ...

In my headcanon this is part of consentual roleplay, in which she was hypnotised by Kaa to wake up in the afore mentioned scenario with the previously mentioned thoughts in mind, to be made helpless by Kaa.
She has been shown to need her subby fix. But then again, it's just headcanon.
