As a fellow translator I can relate. The notes feature here is absolutely awful to work with, and the 15-second editing cooldown just makes it worse. Twitter is easier, but not as many people would see it. The "best" way to do it is to actually typeset the translation on to the image, but that takes time and you introduce the problem of having to upload multiple images here which is also awful. Translators just can't win, can they? Lowering the note editing cooldown would help and is possible I believe, I just don't know if the moderators will do it. Maybe if enough people ask?
