Question: Could we get a "Non-Death Vore" or "Positive Vore" tag?

Seems unnecessary if you ask me. Like how would it be "positive" even, being swallowed whole without being digested...?

Most vore doesn't have the death tag. I feel like you should say wether or not your vote art results in death.

Isn't that up to the viewer's own headcanon? If it doesn't actually show the character dying, there's no reason to assume it results in death unless that's what you want.

I would argue that most vore pics don't get the death tag for much the same reason our rape tag is so underused: much like mind control and rape, for most vore and death are practically synonymous. Even in fantasy, there's not much reason to assume being eaten won't result in death unless some specific indication is given. One of the main reasons I've seen for not liking it is being unable to separate those concepts. We don't tag pics as consensual unless there's a reason to, with noncon being the default assumption, right?

For the record, I don't have much interest in making a new tag since I won't be blacklisting vore anyway. I simply understand where Defcon is coming from in thinking that nonlethal vore is not the default.

tags to discuss
is from_behind + all_fours the same as doggy_style? should all be included, or is it implied?

does cowgirl_position include reverse cowgirl as well?

can there be a tag for 1) extremely "stylistic" or "bad" art that never-the-less is not so bad to cut? [personally, I often like them, but I know many people have a problem with it]
2) one for either poor translations, or else poor spelling and/or grammar

Seems incredibly subjective + unnecessary if you ask me.

I'd say given the nature of the hub each of those tags individually is justified. In the case of those 2 combined, yeah it probably could read doggy_style instead, though I don't think I'd mind coming across it if I searched under all_fours. I say it's fine but adding doggy_style to those entries wouldn't hurt so that tag-group isn't missing anything.

Yes. This is mentioned specifically in the tag description for cowgirl_position <<hypnohub.net/wiki/show?title=cowgirl_position|here.>> If you're ever not sure, click on the question mark next to a tag to view it's description & guidelines. On a personal note, I think it's pretty funny how careful you have to be with cowgirl, cow_girl and cowgirl_position.

I know what you mean with point one, though if it's done in a specific style there are tags like pixel_art and lineart that already exist. I don't know if anyone has a comprehensive list of all the styles with their own category though, I only had a quick look.

As for point two, that's tougher. There are plenty of spelling errors I'd like to fix but it's really up to the artist/manipper to address them. As far as the hub is concerned, no-ones going to search for that trait specifically and if there was a tag for it, it would really only be used as a blacklist filter. Given that anyone can add tags, it could be abused in a way that's not quickly identifiable. Crucially, the creator would almost never add it themselves when they upload something new.

In general it's just not really in the hubs interest to create a tag like that, but I know there are a few people trying to proofread for artists before it gets posted. (I've offered occasionally over the forums but so far no takers.) If there are particular pieces you'd like corrected, I'd suggest contacting the manipper via DM or possibly Discord and be very polite <3

could have sworn I checked cowgirl_position, but I must have been tired and either missed it or only thought I checked it

shortstack? shrinking? growth that doesn't directly relate to breasts or penis? I know we're about mind manipulation, not physical, but there are plenty of instances where the 2 coincide

some clarification, as well:
should symbiote only refer to the entity from spider man, or any similar entity, and if so, how should that differ from living_costume? exhibiting some sense of self?

So, in a discussion with a friend of mine, I found that the Transgender tag, is kind of, misused? The wiki says it's for showing the actual change from one gender to another, which, technically makes sense, but where does that leave actual intersex characters? I'm a little concerned about this, because it seems kinda disrespectful from a no-context position.

Basically, our male/female/futa tags are not gender tags, but biological sex tags. "transgender" is used mainly because that's what's commonly used for the fetish of people changing from one sex to another. It's not scientifically correct, but it's what has been established in the fetish community. Tagging based on gender identity would be kind of a nightmare and not really serve much of a purpose when it comes to searches.

It's not socially correct, either, and I still maintain that we dont need to follow the lead of the fetish community if the fetish community is doing something wrong.

I have very mixed feelings about trans or intersex characters being tagged, but making the 'transgender' tag something else I can still totally get behind.

I suggest Asshole_Victim, or Karmic, or whatever you want to call it, for those who want a good old fashioned karma boner by watching some MC/Brainwashing being done to someone who *really* had it coming.

On the recent posts I tagged as Yukari_yuzuki I know we usually tag things with names in western order but I'm not 100% on what her given name and family name are so I think I got it right but if I didn't I apologize, or if this isn't the place to bring this up, but I wanted to make sure I was tagging correctly. Thank you.
