So someone placed the seizure warning tag on my post above, I don't want to remove it without consensus though. but they didn't leave me a message to say why they left it there.

I don't feel it's deserved, there's a lot of the Kaa eyes effect on here already, none of which has that tag on it from my knowledge. It's got a really slow framerate too, had to since it's so long. So I don't think it's of significant risk compared to everything else and does feel unfair having my post hidden for most users.

But I'm open to opinions and wouldn't want to unjustly remove the tag

I am simply a third party to all this, but when last I checked, seizure warning is not on the default blacklist. Also, while you reference Kaa eyes, most Kaa-like pictures do not pulse between reds and blues as yours does.

I also find it curious that even though you are open to an explanation (which I do not doubt), your post reads like someone who thinks a simple content warning is a personal attack against your work.

Seizure warning is on the default blacklist, but after watching it in its entire length, wow that final bit where it's just the hypnosis and nothing else was honestly kinda painful for my eyes to look at, something not even general seizure warnung posts do, so for someone with seizures... It might be too much

I don't suffer from seizures personally, but I do tend to get eyestrain from things that induce them, and I can say that by that standard the final few seconds are likely to cause issues.

Ironically, I think the slow framerate is what makes that final segment a seizure hazard. The colours move too far between frames, so it ends up looking like it's flickering and flashing between the different shades rather than smoothly expanding them across the screen.

It's just frustrating to have your work hidden from most of the userbase without explanation or communication from whoever did it.



That's a shame, I suppose I could probably reupload without that ending bit, the gif format actually made the file bigger so I had to cut down on frames and resolution

That must have changed at some point; I have made no changes to my default settings and all I have hidden are loli, shota, and death.

If you have a version with a higher framerate, perhaps split it into parts and upload them that way? It's not optimal, but it is a potential alternate solution.



If it changed, it would have been before I registered (roughly 4.5 years ago), since it was on my blacklist by default.

It's not an awful idea, but I've already reuploaded and I have a link to a twitter upload that has a full 24fps

If you log out, you can see the default blacklist under "hidden posts" where it usually is, just under the search bar on the left. It has shota, loli, death, and seizure_warning.
