What's the exact ruling on real hypno content again?
I know manipped stuff isn't allowed which I totally get but does it also include scenes from general media that add special effects to them like spiral eyes?

This is correct. Any visual manipulation additions such as spirals in the eyes must be from the original, and the original must be a product advertised by its creator as a hypnosis product (For examples of allowed Real Life Hypnosis content, do a search using the tag "entrancement_uk"). If the visual manipulation additions were added by the user that uploaded it, and the visual manipulation additions were not part of the original version, then it's not allowed here for legal reasons of it being effectively impossible to prove that there was consent for the usage of the depicted person's face/body.

So then a music videos with hypnosis imagery and themes aren't allowed as they are advertised as music products first and foremost?

After looking through all the gifs I saw a bunch from shows and music videos so I guess it's okay. If not then apologies for wasting a mods time.

As long as the hypnosis is a part of the original product, it's allowed. The rule is specifically banning stuff that was edited to "show" hypnosis by a random person and then uploaded here, as 99.99% of the time, the real life person depicted in the edited image wouldn't have consented to the use of their face in such a work, and thus Hypnohub would end up risking legal repercussions by continuing to host it. With things like Entrancement UK and music videos with hypnosis imagery, the real life people in the product consented to the use of their face in the work, and thus as long as it's not paywalled content, the site is legally fine hosting it.

I wondered the same for MP4 content. Maybe it's because people would upload full hentai episodes or something. But things like animations, real life movie/cartoon/anime scenes and maybe a couple hentai scenes featuring MC. I mean Rule 34.xxx has an MP4 slot. And there is a lot of MC MP4 stuff online and on both Rule 34 sites.
