So I've recently come into possession of a subscription to something called Vance AI, which is an AI-based image enhancement tool. Since it gives me more usage credits than I actually need, I was wondering if anyone here had any pics they'd want to see upscaled to a higher resolution.

Why not just use Waifu2x, which is free?

Was unaware of its existence. Plus, Waifu2x notes that it's best used with manga-style art, whereas VanceAI is more versatile.

I've used Waifu2x with all kinds of art, including plsgts pics, and it works great. They also recently started testing out an option for photographs as well. Honestly, I'd say most of the pics I enlarge with it come out looking cleaner than the pic you posted. Example: imgur.com/a/RFiI45T

I should probably mention that the image I showed used a version of the source that I had previously attempted to upscale manually with less success. In hindsight I probably should have gone for a direct upscale, since the results are cleaner, like you say.

Yea, waifu2x works with really anything, even real life pics as long as you configure it correctly
The only advantage Vance seems to have on W2X is that the web version of W2X only allows for up to 2x resizing, but if you just use the apps like waifu2x-caffe it's not a problem
