Hello! I've been really craving a nice hypno game where I can go around and either get caught and hypnotized by other players or do the same to them. Hypno images are fun and there are some cool games, but the best feeling is when it's a sort of RP/Game feeling mix and I really wanna see if anyone has options.

I do not, but this sounds neat, so ima drop in and wait too, haha.

The problem si that this is strictly a role-playing experience, and a multiplayer-focused game about the player having to only do as they're told has a very niche appeal. I think only something with a large install base by default (like VR Chat or Tabletop Simulator) could actually offer long-term support.

I'm pretty sure Priests in WoW still have access to mind-control, including against players, in the most recent version of the game, though if you want to use it against other players it's gonna be PvP, so I'm unsure if that's possible to integrate at all in RP (I'm not that familiar with WoW).

There's also the matter of whether you'd like to support a company like Activision-Blizzard by even playing one of their games, but that's a debate for another thread. Just be aware who you're actually giving your money/time to, is all.

Yeah, I'm with 97643241 on this, Parcon. A game like that would be so niche that I can't imagine anyone being will to put in the money necessary to maintain it...



Don't even get me started, man. Though my gripe is more with the Activision part of Activision-Blizzard...

I dunno if you're aware of the California lawsuit, but you may want to look it up as I'm pretty sure it concerns Blizzard before joining Activision (though it obviously deals with stuff after the merge), so it's more of a general "Blizzard" issue, rather than a strict "Activision" one.

Not that there aren't valid reasons to hate Activision besides all that, of course. I just want pitchforks to be aimed in the right directions, including those that may have escaped scrutiny.

I won't post anything more on the matter, though - this really isn't the thread for it.

It's a text based game, pretty much exactly what you're asking for, with lots of players and is updated often.

The community there is really nice and all, sadly didn't got hypno'ed yet (except by the world itself lol)
But it's really welcoming and has a nice world to explore, 10/10 would recommend

I can't believe I didn't know about this until I saw it here. This client and the world are excellent! I gotta convince more people to give it a try.

So far it's interesting but in the tutorial where it's saying I need to put my consciousness in the basket, it's just not working for some reason?

Once you're in the room, you're supposed to do
>drop basket
>put consciousness in basket
I think there's some text that explains what to do. If nothing else works, I think you can also just type "hub" to get sent from the tutorial to the main world.

Hey, I'm from the HypnoMUD team, here to find out where the newbie swarm's coming from :) First time on these forums so forgive me for not knowing how to quote people :P
- Definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to join, it's a great place with lots of people for ic and ooc hypnosis in an immersive (text-based) world.
- The world is full of 'traps' with mild hypnotic effects, but most of the interaction comes from the game's lively community.
- Yes, the client is a litttle bit hard to get your head around sometimes, but definitely worth sticking with (and everyone's happy to help)
- This isn't really the kind of place for you to just walk in and expect to get a trance straight away, but there's plenty of fun to be had once you get to know the world and its inhabitants.

Alright I've played a few days and I love it! I got a tour and that was super fun, I've explored a bunch of fun areas and all around it's great. Highly recommended! That being said, this post is still open and if you have any other recommendations feel free to put them out there! I am and I'm sure many others are constantly looking for new outlets!

If you enjoy the corruption/transformation of hypnosis, might I recommend Parasite Infection (in the NSFW section of Steam) or look up ZXC's latex dungeon (not available on Steam yet, but available for download over Pixiv).
