TL;DR: I need help asking for permission. If this has been resolved, I have not found it after probing this forum and a link to it would be greatly appreciated.

Hey people, I need your help.

In short, I've had something of a conscience awakening. I want to ask artists for permission to use their ar (nothing's cooler than consent!).

Should I just outright tell them I want to make a manip of their art (with all relevant info)? Ask if I can use it for fetish art? Roleplay? I don't feel that's likely to draw success. I'm anything but diplomatic when it comes to stuff like this, so I was wondering if any silver-tongued manipper out there has found a way of asking that works. I don't want the artist to feel uncomfortable, thinking "oh no, weird hypno-coomer wants to pervert my art!", but I also don't want to outright lie to them and lead to the situation blowing up (seeing some old threads where manippers have gone way of the dinosaur because of stuff like that). Do you guys feel that just asking them for permission to use their art for non-commercial use is enough?

I mean, this is a porn hypnokink site, I don't think a lot of people have problem with give them pervert use to their pictures, the only think you would ask is to artists that use self-inserts, that draw safe for work or that don't like their art being manniped.

In my case, i'm fine with manip of my pictures if the manniper still give me credits for the picture.
