I see rule34 ads, the "You can access 90% of Rule34.xxx without an account..." when creating this temp account, and some other stuff. What's happening?
It means some people were too preoccupied with rolling this switch out as soon as possible, as fast as possible, to try and fix things like this.
No idea why this was rushed to this extent, I'll be honest. I don't understand why this couldn't have waited, like, a month or two, and involved a newspost enabling people to go check out the "Public Test Realm" to report bugs - one week isn't nearly enough for a relatively small portion of the userbase (the one that used the forum) to report bugs and issues in a meaningful way.

Agreed. And while we haven't lost a ton of features, the ones we have lost are pretty bad. Pools are all kinds of fucked up, artist tags need to be re-assigned, the wiki is dead, you can't hide posts from the index except by parenting them, and parented posts cannot be unparented under any circumstances, to name a few.
The pools in particular seem like they're going to be a nightmare. Only some of mine seem to have transferred over successfully (so there goes who knows how many sets), and even the ones that do work aren't really set-up for the multi-part series that were fairly common on the old site. Losing the location above the image and the quick "page" buttons really hurts. Most people aren't even going to see the pool message, let alone use it.
