Always seemed fun to hear different ideas of hypnosis. I recently came up with, and just hear me out on this… A shitty movie that leaves someone entranced.

I was picturing someone, probably jokingly, going to see a trash movie by themselves. They end up being the only one in the theater! “Pfft, fine I just don’t have to worry about staying quiet and laughing at this garbage movie” as she puts her feet up on the chairs in front of her. Having the most obnoxious pose, and way of eating popcorn.

But maybe a hypnosis effect filter progressively comes on from the screen. Starting with squinting her eyes in confusion, to spirals and a goofy smile spreading across her face. This time her grin isn’t from making fun of the film, but becoming engrossed in it. Taking her shoes and socks off, and leaning forward, so intent on paying genuine attention.

Maybe the film critics will give it a trash rating, but this has definitely become her favorite movie now.

Aww, that’s adorable! Especially the goofy smile. I’m sure I’ll come back to this thread every now and then. One idea I had just recently was a himbofication one: An uptight, cutthroat businessman who bears an unhealthily productive work ethic and little to no joy. When he’s practically on the brink of cardiac arrest and in complete denial, who else shows up to save him, but… A clown lady? Because the sensical is an afterthought. A clown who barges into his office to offer him a much more free life, at the circus, and gives him a taste of this freedom by hypnotizing him to tear all his tight clothes off in favor of a tighter tiny golden speedo, commanding him to parade around the office lifting whatever heavy things he can as his muscles grow and grow? All the while she cheers him on through the chaos as his brain is melting with submissive brainwashing to become the Strongman he was always meant to be?

Of course, I’ll always be thinking of more to post here.

Some ideas that I may or may not make something out of later:

1) A character with the ability to rewind time is hypnotized by someone who doesn't know they can do that. The hypnotist keeps saying things like "You love being entranced. You are addicted to my control. You want to be hypnotized any chance you get.", and the character acts on these suggestions by rewinding back to the start of the induction as soon they wake up, trapping them both in an infinite time loop without either noticing.

2) A telepath notices that one of her friends has been behaving strangely recently and decides to investigate. After digging through their thoughts for a bit, she uncovers a memory of her friend being hypnotized and enslaved. Because it's such a vivid memory, she begins to perceive it as though it was actually happening to her, and she ends up brainwashed by proxy.

I'm writing a NaruIno fic with basically this premise:

Guy brainwashes girl with mind control powers with the intent to us her to help him build a harem, girl (while fully enslaved) has enough autonomy to realize she doesn't want to share her new master with anyone and brainwashes him back to be in love with her so he gives up on his pursuits to build a harem. So its meant to be like a twisted romance between the two.

I had an idea where a fortune teller meets a new client, and discovers one of two things while gaze into their future:

1) The client is destined to become some mind controlling tyrant with a harem of dominated slaves. The two then proceed to have sex, which cause the client's powers to awaken. At this point, we learn the fortune teller was hypnotized by future self of the client, leading to a stable time loop.

2) The client is a skilled hypnotist intent on enthralling the fortune teller. The future vision of the induction is so vivid though, she's already put under. We then cut to the present, where the hypnotist tries out the induction, but is surprised to see the fortune teller is somehow already under and eager to obey.

This might be a pretty crazy coincidence or perhaps we could call it "great minds thinking alike" but I actually had a similar idea involving a fortune teller.

Mine revolved around the antics and escapades of professional thief with powerful hypnotic eyes. She steals a magical crystal ball that shows the user whatever they want. She was warned by the balls' previous owner not to take it as it would give her a different fortune than what she was seeking. Naturally, she doesn't listen.

She attends a bazaar where she learns, from the ball, that a wealthy young noble women will be attending. She plans to use her hypnotic eyes on them to slowly usurp their wealth and power and maybe make her servant in the process. She's done this many times before but at this point she simply wants more. The only problem is she wants to know the young woman's future to see just what she'll be taking. That's when she sees her own hypnotic eyes and is hypnotized by them through the ball.

She ends up working as a maid for the young woman and the rest of the story is just her trying to get out of her service and/or steal her wealth. It's a story that intakes karma and comedy and a situation that gets more and more hopeless for the heroine.

I'm really interested in this thread now.

I've thought it might be fun to do a story where a young guy is building his hypno-harem at his university, but comes across one girl who seems completely immune to his powers. Turns out that her dad was a famous stage hypnotist who loaded her up with mental defenses so that no horny men with mind control devices could ever take advantage of her. Not sure where the story would actually go, but it seems like it would be an interesting dynamic to explore.

In general I'm interested in mc powers being limited in some capacity if I'm trying to tell a story, because otherwise the MCer is just a godlike wish-fulfillment character (which is fine for a sex fantasy, but hard to go anywhere novel with).

Here’s a silly one I thought of. A round of paintball or air soft or something like that, except one gal is armed with some sleeping darts. And upon knocking others unconscious, she teabags them in victory. But when she rubs her hypnotic ass on their face in the process, it brainwashes them and makes them rise up like zombies and join her team, working for her.

And this ends up being completely unintentional on her part and she’s completely confused.

I have a bunch of ideas, but my most recent one is what i refer to as "the trance dispenser" story idea. I may write it, may not.

Basically, a bunch of friends are all hypnofetishists, but all subs. As a result, they've been taking turns switching and taking a dominant hypnotist role at times, but it's not working out well, and they're all fed up with trying to use the shitty audios and videos online. So one day, one person takes the bull by the horns, and conditions the person the rest of them all agree is the best hypnotist so that when one of them uses the trigger phrase, the person will hypnotize the person who used the trigger; effectively making them a trance dispenser. A hypnotized hypnotist tale, for sure. And I'd include a detail about them asking for session parameters and all that before starting the session, such as what the subject/trigger user wants out of the session, what they want to be hypnotized to do, how long they want to be hypnotized for, etc.

I had an idea: Anti-NTR!

So the idea is: a guy successfully hypnotizes the woman he's been lusting after, and once he's done reveling in his success, orders her to strip.
However, instead of stripping, the woman's face goes blank and she declares, "Request Denied. Only Master may command this Slave to strip."
Naturally, the guy reacts with, "But I am your master!"
Only for the woman to reply, "No, you are not the Master of this Slave. You are [rattles off personal information about the hypnotist]. This Slave will now return to her Master for deprogramming."
"Wait... what is happening!?"
"Do not attempt to stop this Slave from returning to her Master. If you do not stop interfering immediately, this Slave will contact the police and report you for Unlawful Confinement and Attempted Sexual Assault, which this Slave will believe is the absolute truth."

So the guy has no choice but to let her go, left baffled and more than a little intimidated. We then cut to the woman returning to her Master, who turns out to also be her husband, at which point we learn it is fairly common occurrence for her to get hypnotized, with her thanking her husband for the failsafe programming.

Idea I had, Main Character has absolute mind control powers, with two key limitations. First, any commands they give fade over the course of a day or so, with the mind controlled party having full memories of what happened, second, they can only maintain their hold over someones mind for a limited time, around a day or so. So if our MC tries to say, turn the first girl they're attracted to into their mind controlled sex toy, they'll have their fun at first, and then they will have to deal with the fallout of their actions.

Idea is to take a more deconstruction approach to the Mind Control as Wish Fulfillment story, in particular the fact that generally, the mind controlled characters in such stories have no agency. And while the MC can temporarily take that agency away, it will then be a source of conflict.

I got some more silly ones.

1: A hypnotic ski mask that compels the wearer to become an absolute kleptomaniac and begin stealing everyone, while forcing more masks onto as many people as they can.

2: A hypnotic hot sauce, that’s so hot it compels the person eating it to tear off all their clothes and start dancing like strippers. Presumably inside of a Taco Bell.

Ya know what should be more common? Dominant bimbos. Imagine a big voluptuous bimbo hypnotizing innocent folks to make them even dumber then herself, wouldn’t that be hawt?

Actually I love the idea for like a bimbo virus story that the bimbos have some sort of hypnotic effect. Like possibly their moans are like siren songs and put victims into horny, obedient trances. Like I had a scene in mind of scientist captured an infected bimbo to try and figure out how to cure her and she hypnotizes them all to let her out and she converts them all into more bimbos

I like your thought process! Heres another: A bimbo whose stupidity is infectious, in such a manner that anyone subjected to her brainless babbling and giggling will just feel it slowly fill their minds up, until words and giggles just begin uncontrollably spilling out their mouth to their confusion, until they just lose themselves in it and fall madly in love with the original memetic bimbo. Sounds hawt and pretty cute. Especially if its a guy and doubles as himbofication- I’ve DEFINITELY thought of lots of cute stuff for bimbos making himbos.
