Hello. Working on commissioning a hypno fic based on Batman the animated series. (Episode, “Mad As A Hatter”). The story would be a POV of the main female character through the episode, before being controlled, during, and after being freed. But I need an opinion on something…

How do you think the victims of this version of Hatter “thought” while under control. Aware of their actions but unable to resist? Unaware completely? Dreamlike bliss? Etc? Please describe what you think.

Honestly after rewatching the scenes I would go with unaware and empty or dream like bliss. Whichever you feel you could get more out of depending on how you write!

Given the mind that's broadcasting into their brains.. I imagine it being like this:
You're standing around, you start to realize you don't know where you are. As you try to figure it out IT IS NO USE GOING BACK TO YESTERDAY, BECAUSE WAS A DIFFERENT PERSON THEN.
Wait, what were you just thinking? You were trying to figure something out before that thing that sounded like some sort of quote rammed through your brain like a freight train. Maybe you were trying to figure out why there is some guy dressed like A RABBIT is next to you?? For that matter, what the Hell are you wea- HOW FUNNY IT'LL SEEM TO COME OUT AMONG THE PEOPLE WHO WALK WITH THEIR HEADS DOWNWARDS! You're starting to feel faintly ill. Every time you come close to gathering your thoughts they get scattered by some quote that barrels in like a kid plowing into a pile of autumn leaves! Wait.. are you in a new place? Just how long did it take to gather yourself after that last brain blast? And is this.. AN AXE you are holding?! Also, who is the guy in black in front of you? He kind of looks like- OFF WITH HIS HEAD!!

I think with Hatter it was like going under anaesthetic. Your consciousness just fades and you get lost time.

But close contender is as anonymind says: overwhelming thought projection that simply makes it too hard to do anything else up there.
