So how strong is Hypno?
Obviously the answer is "as strong as it takes to hypnotize X girl" , but I always wondered what girls Hypno could utterly dominate, what girls it’d need to be clever to catch, and what girls would insta gib him.

The Pokédex entries says he can put humans to sleep in three seconds, so I'd say any girls that live in regions he doesn't normally appear would be an easy catch. Experienced trainers and gym leaders are probably aware of which pokémons are dangerous, so it would be tricky to fool them.

And don't forget any psychics, bug, ghost, and dark-type specialists. Those would be extra resistant.

...Now I'm imagining a Pangoro body-slamming a Hypno for hypnotizing it's trainer...

Reminds me of that one comic where Brock smashes a hypnos face in with a geodude before taking the hypnosis coin and showing em how it's done

Do you think the Pokémon world has frequent police involvement with such cases? Seems awfully, well not dangerous per se as they'd just keep you happily sedated and fed as dream cattle but y'know... problematic at the very least.

Good question! If we go by the Pokédex entries in general, most of them are dangerous to humans like a wild animal would be, while the Psychic/Ghost types like to do some creepy stuff.

Gothorita likes to hypnotize sleeping children to be it's friends, Beheeyem can manipulate memories and a group of them controlled an entire city in the anime, which was a nice discovery for me (Capacia Island UFO! is the episode), etc. Maybe it happens often, but Psychics in general are so powerful police would rather let them be than force a conflict.

I feel it's worth remembering the Drowsee/Hypno put people to sleep to feed off their dreams(Dream Eater).

Wow. They just run riot. Hot. I feel like they'd have a Psy Ops crisis team though.

There's a reason those Dorkly "honest pokedex entries" are so dark all the time.

Pokemon in reality would be MONSTERS

See, this is why I wanted Hypno SPECIFICALLY as a monster in a hypno hentai horror crossover. With all of the insanity and creepiness in the lore and canon, for Hypno to be specifically called out as dangerous is honestly kind of alarming.
