drone high discussion
remember in my last post how i hinted at the idea of manip series called drone, so.. this the thread to discuss that, and boy that is going to be nightmare to make, because in summary the plot is that student finds a box of collars and decide to test one them on his classmate and to his surprise she turns into a mindless drone just waiting to receive his orders, and then he uses his newfound device to turn every single female in that school into a drooling mindless drone, and i kind need some help as that is my first manip

I have some experience in the image editing portion of manips but not much in the writing department. I don't manip anymore but if you're looking for some help I might be able to offer my input.

Well, this is just my style, no knocking those who tale different approaches. I tend to do comic style manips. That is to say, I try to let the image tell as much of the story as possible. I supplement this with thought and word balloons but even then I try to convey the story in a few words as possible (stop laughing).

There are a couple reasons for this. First, fewer words means bigger font size which enhances readability. The caption box approach is sometimes necessary, especially if you want to tell a more complicated story and can't find enough/the right kind of images to tell the story as a series. However, the weakness of the caption box approach is that the person has to look away from the image to read the text. When the comic style is at its best, the person can read the text and take in the image at the same time.

Bonus points if you can place the balloons next to parts of the image you want the reader to pay particular attention to.

I'd be glad to help. Just send me whatever images you're working on and I'll tell you what I know about how to alter them to your specifications. You can either DM, post here, or reach me on Discord.
