Saimin Yuugi Translation Project

Hey all, the saimin yuugi translation project is starting up again, and hopefully it succeeds this time.

If any of you guys can volunteer to translate the script from Japanese to English, that would be nice.

Or if you possess any previously translated scripts.
For example, HMFan said that he obtained a partial Keika script, but I couldn't find that on the internet.

Thanks for posting this MalloryMc314! saves me making the thread for it.
I figured keeping the thing in a git repo would let it have the best chance of surviving instead of throwing files up in mediafire links.

Lets get this masterpiece in english!

Hey, I wouldn't mind contributing here and there. I'm a software dev IRL, so I could at least contribute by adding some documentation and quality-of-life scripts.

No guarantees on how often I'd be available, but hopefully it's better than nothing.

Yeah I set it to be a public repo. You'll need an account to contribute of course but other than that you should be good.

Sadly I don't have much time for translation besides commissions, but I might be able to help out here and there. I have some random scraps translated, but those were mostly just to test something. Saimin Yuugi (and its related Enbu and Jiken) is one of the best pure hypnosis-themed visual novels out there. I'm actually kind of surprised it doesn't have a translation already, but I guess that's what happens when a game has thousands of lines of text. Soushinjutsu series next? haha

Well I am definitely going to make a thread on Fuwa about Enbu once Yuugi is done. Again, if you want to, please contribute! I had done it via a git repo to allow for anyone to contribute. Just be sure to read the (not complete) style guide to help keep things consistent.

Currently there is someone working on the Rui route but if you want to take a stab at any of the other routes then please do! It would be awesome to see progress on the other routes!

Fuwa is currently down but WaifusAndSyrup (Evebloom's developer!) has gone and reformatted most of Keika's route from the previous translation. Im going to merge it into the main branch as well as the rest of the rui stuff thats complete and provide a patch file soon. Still looking for other's to help with finishing Maiya's route!
