I’m really not sure what to call it or how to word it - but I’ve been really into the idea of hypnosis where the subs basic personality is still intact, just they’re in a more suggestible instead of just mindwiping them 100%

Usually that's altered common sense / perception territory.

Yeah, that's my favorite too - "it's still the same person, that person just wants to obey". I think it's different from altered perception/altered common sense since that's usually "they think obedience is the normal thing to do" whereas installed obedience doesn't mean they necessarily think it's normal, just that they want to do it.
