Just a heads up for anyone else who hasn't noticed, your account options may be set by default to automatically ignore or blacklist posts with less than 1 rating point. This seems to include brand new, unrated posts which have been slipping past me without ever getting to see them. Make sure you aren't missing out!

That explain the amount of "blacklist" pics and even my own uploaded pics I see and the variable amount of time in order to see them.

Can the Admin change that to make the option "0" for default?

I mean, we know that now, but people don't tend to read the forum

I think it's already "0" for default. I went to check on my profile and the option were never changed, it always were 0.

So what happened that changed it for some of us? Did we all collectively type the same number into it by accident? Surely not.

I can only hope that the default got changed.

Based on my own experience, I can only think that the change might trigger from needing to recredential oneself or that it just randomly happens when some sort of update occurs.

Honestly, I question why we even have this feature.

If we had the option to downvote things, I could understand wanting to block anything with a negatve score. But when the numbers can only go up, I just can't imagine a reason to use this.

I can think of one quite easily: it can be used to QC new posts. Once a mod upvotes it, it would be visible to the rest of the userbase.

Of course, this is all assuming this is being done on purpose and the reset to 1 isn't some weird CSS or coding issue that occassionally flares up.

Hm. I changed this value on mine when this thread first came up, and it has since reset itself to 01 twice. It saves initially, but when I came back the next day, it was back to 01.

Edit: this has been pretty consistently happening. Not every single time I logout/in, but almost every time.
