Tag checklist
Maybe this will help some people - it's not all encompassing or fool proof, but it helps me.

Remember, try and only tag what can be seen.

Note: once the picture is posted, go into edit mode [beneath the picture] - things you type in will attempt to complete as known tags, making it easier to get correct tags.

* Copyright, artist, character - if not in the database, these followed by a colon will add it - be careful to try and not add commissioners, reposters, and manipers - look for artist marks or reverse search with tineye or google image, if you have the patience.

* Visuals of hypno - eg: spiral, spiral_eyes, kaa_eyes [mulch-colored rings, not connected like a spiral], glowing_eyes, possession, corruption [suggest 'being infected/infecting another'], robotization, bimboization, psychic, magic, pocket_watch, pendulum, hypnotic_accessory [ie, any object that isn't covered elsewhere], hypnotic_potion.

* Relationships - eg: yuri, femdom, femsub [most are this], maledom, malesub, yaoi.

* Actions - eg: sex, masturbating, fellatio, dancing.

* Body - eg: nude [adds both topless and bottomless automatically, but these can also be done separately] , torn_clothes, long_gloves, helmet, crown, see_through_clothes, boots, futanari, huge_breasts, mouse_boy, squid_girl, furry.

* Attitude - eg: clown, goth, schoolgirl, happy_trance, expressionless, etc..

* Hair, eyes, skin - eg: blonde-hair, green_hair, multi-colored_hair, blue_eyes, dark_skin.

* Misc. - eg: manip, text, comic [ie. multiple frames, or a story being told with more then 1 image] absurdres[absurd resolution].

* Is this one of several connected pictures? if 2, then find the ID on the left and add it to Parent Post. If 3 or more, go to pools, create new pool [at bottom of page], title with the format of " copyright - name of set (artist of set) ", and then go back to the picture and on the left, add to pool. You can now go through all the pictures and add to pool. Try to add them in order from 1st to last. Note that, in order to add images to a pool, you must have the "Advanced Editing" <<hypnohub.net/user/edit|account option>> enabled.

This could be useful, indeed.

Do you mind if I reformat your post a bit to make it easier to read?

For perfectionists like me:
Usually my first and only step after adding the artist, copyrights, and characters, is to walk through the <<hypnohub.net/tag?name=&am...r=count&commit=Search|tag list by post count>> and add all the relevant tags that already have 10+ images. Then I add any more if necessary (usually not).

You're more of a perfectionist than me, then. I just add shit until I think it's complete, missing a few tags which Mindwipe usually picks up. :P

I'll just assume by your silence, Grim, that I can reformat your OP a bit. Hope you don't mind. ;)

Edit: Changed the order of the OP's list to something closer to a descending order of importance, made the list unnumbered and bulleted, Changed the list's format to be more uniform (i.e. most of the points are structured the same way using <tag "type"> - eg: <examples>), and added a few things, such as the clarification of needing Advanced Editing for pools.

This list is pretty thorough, Grim. It's interesting to see how you classify the tags by groups being so different from the way we do, too.

no problem! I just found myself mentally trying to go down the list, and saw many people skip what I thought were some obvious things, so I thought this would be helpful

sorry, I've been absent from the forums for a few days

Not a problem. Thanks again for making this list, I'm sure it'll be a useful tool for people in the future.
