How do you tag?
Seriously. I have found lots of guides on WHAT to tag images with, but no one seems to have given consideration for the much more basic concern of explaining how the input field works. I just deleted a picture in disgust, the only picture I've made I consider even remotely worth uploading, because every time I tried to add more tags, it just submitted the field again.

How are they separated? Commas? Spaces? A prayer to the dark gods? Yes, this information should be common knowledge. That's why it's infuriating that it isn't the first line of the first post of anything anywhere related to tagging images.

Just spaces between words is fine. For multi-word tags, use an underscore between the words. So an image thats an animated gif and has blonde hair would look like:

animated_gif blonde_hair

Worst case, if you're not sure, just leave it lol. Someone will come along and fix the tags ^^

Also, if you don't tag it when you upload, you can click Edit underneath the image after the fact and add tags that way. Doing it that way will give a dropdown of tag suggestions when you start typing, making it easier.

Hope that helps!

Thank you very much. That does help.

Though, in this case, I shouldn't need to worry about suggestions, since I'm pretty certain I already worked out most, if not all the tags I ought to have.

EDIT: Or it would help, if I hadn't managed to bugger things up even worse trying to delete things and start over. Then managed to somehow have my underscores not copy. Then I DON'T EVEN KNOW, GODAMNITFUCK! V_V;

Lol well I know issues sometimes happen from uploading images that were already deleted. If you want, I can undelete it for you.

Hokay doke, I fixed up the tags lol. I assume you manipped it?

Do you have a source link to the original image you used to manip? You can add that to the "source" box under "Edit" below the image ^^

I'd actually just fixed the tags myself. lol

I have another image, but it's a textless version with the image edits already in place. This has been sitting on a flash drive in a folder I never open for a long time, and I honestly have no idea what happened to the original image. Sorry. ^^;

EDIT: Correction! Managed to dig it up!

Lol that works.

And no worries, we have a few eagle-eyed users, it will be found eventually!

Turns out it was wrong. There was an edited file in my folder that I was too lazy to change the name on, so I was able to trace it back to the original from that. Phew! ^_Q;
