So, I'm sure we're all still busy favoriting all our favorite pics all over again, but I decided to start this thread just to have some fun. If you haven't noticed yet, your profile keeps track of your favorite artists, copyrights, and characters based on the pics you've faved (go to "My Account", "My Profile"). What I want to know is, does your profile get what you like? Obviously, what our favorites are will change as we continue to favorite all of our pics over again, but for right now...

Favorite Artists: sleepymaid, plsgts, reinassanceofchaos, p.chronos

Can't really disagree with any of those. Sleepymaid still has the largest folder of any individual artist on my hard drive, and plsgts has quickly become my new favorite hypno-snake artist. Also, by virtue of faving many of my own manips (hey, I like my own manips :P), I'm apparently my 2nd favorite artist.

Favorite Copyrights: original, touhou, pokemon, tales_of_(series), the_jungle_book

Well, obviously I like original characters. :P Touhou and Pokemon are big ones for me, so that's no surprise. I'm not sure you could really call me a Tales fan after only playing 2 games, but I'd play more if I could, so... And I'm a Kaa fan, so of course I like The Jungle Book (even if it's not Kaa himself that led to that tag being on this list).

Favorite Characters: kaa, shanti, misty, princess_peach, princess_zelda

Kaa is obvious, and Shanti is as well, because of her pairing with Kaa. Misty hits a nostalgia bone, and she's cute in a tomboyish sort of way. Nintendo princess are great, but I'd put Zelda way higher on my list.

I don't really consider myself a Jimryu fan. He just has so many pics that there's bound to be enough I like to make the list.

Meh. This is only on there because of the Kaa pics.

Favorite Characters: monica_raybrandt

This is just because of RoC's comic. I actually know nothing about this character.

I'm ignoring circles, because who cares about circles? :P I fully expect many of these to change in the near future.

So do you think it'll ever be possible for this auto-profiling feature to be optional? Maybe one day it'll be possible to describe ourselves manually and more accurately?

Yeah, I kind of manipulated my favorites a little after I saw the "favorite x" feature on the profile pages since I wanted to test it out, so I at least like everything on my favorites lists.

Favorite Artists: nyuu (manekin-eko), suechan, boogars, hypnofood, plsgts, moritanian

Guilty on all charges. Moritanian isn't very prolific but his picture with the hat parasite is one of my favorites ever.

Favorite Copyrights: touhou, fate (series), a certain scientific railgun, a certain magical index, fate/stay night, neon genesis evangelion

Nailed it on Touhou and Fate. My knowledge of the Toaru series is limited to the Railgun manga, but I like it well enough. Not much of an Eva fan but I faved some Asuka pics. Aaand my Fate/Index thing seems to have wiped out two slots in this category, lol.

Favorite Characters: reimu hakurei, yukari yakumo, misaki shokuhou, sanae kochiya, mikoto misaka, saber

Embarrassing lack of diversity here, haha. Reimu gets boosted by virtue of having the most pics, although she is one of my favorites. Yukari's good. Sanae: yep. While I like Misaki and Mikoto, they're here for the hypno connection. And yes, if you couldn't tell, I do like Saber.

Well, the computer's pretty much batting 18 out of 18. Guess I'm boned :p

Doubtful, because the whole reason for it is to just track your favorites at a glance. Click on any of the names, and it will show you your favorites from that artist/copyright/character.

What it got right:

Artists: Sue-Chan; Shadowednavi; P.Chronos

Obviously Sue-Chan and Shadowednavi would be my top two. Sue-Chan got the number one spot on my profile due to volume of work. Plus she's what got me into this crazy mess in the first place. The wifey always makes me smile when she does hypno-themed art.

Plus I'm a bit prudish, so those two focus on the entrancement more than the sexual exploitation of the victim.

P.Chronos is just a fantastic artist. I'm not always a fan of what he draws in terms of utters, futa and underage material, but who am I to complain. I originally got in to him when he and ChaosCroc were running content at the Sonic The Hedgehog Yahoo Group.

About the only thing on that list that I am crazy for and... well. Hi, I'm Bellchan. I like Ah! My Goddess. Like... a lot. Like. A lot, a lot. I think my feed is fixed with too much Nintendo because I liked/faved the Samus/Zelda/Peach series and P.Chronos' Espeon series.

Characters: Urd; Belldandy; Princess Zelda

AMG girls are my favorite. Of the 5 Goddesses my list would go Lind > Urd > Peorth > Belldandy > Skuld. Because Lind is fantastic.

Zelda, particularly Twilight and Skyward is just magnificent.

What it got wrong:

Artist: Jimryu; Stormfeder

Much like Mindwipe, it was a matter of quantity. He was forced upon me. He has some good works but is faaar from my favorite. Storm is the same as my character list. Skewed because of the musical Nintendo girls comic. (S)He's a great artist, but outside of that one comic I know nothing of them.

Though I think I wouldn't object to Daisy art, I am no fan of Peach, Koopa-Girls or any other feminine characters from the series besides Daisy. Likewise, Samus isn't my favorite and I couldn't even name a second girl from that franchise.

Character: Princess Peach

I was going to list Kaa too, but he is integral to the fetish. I'll allow him. Peach, however. She looks too stripperific out of her dress and... simply boring inside of it. Her hair and face shape are really what make me dislike her. A shame. The COMPLETE LACK OF PERSONALITY may add something to this, too. Half the fun of mind control and hypnosis is seeing the alteration of the mind.

What is missing:

Artist: ChaosCroc; Darkhatboy

I may not be heavy in to the Sonic fandom anymore, and his human art always looks a little... off. But he is a classic and someone in the community who deserves love and attention.

And DHB is possibly the best up-and-coming artist in our little community. I look forward to more of the Song of Mind comics.

Given how every other Nintendo game has shown up on my feed, I'm surprised Zelda isn't a favored copyright of mine. Firstly, the wife is a GIANT fan (our license plate is a Zelda reference) and secondly the female selection is far higher than other Nintendo offerings (I love me some Zelda, Nabooru, Malon...).

Tales, too, has such a delightful offering. I love Judy, Sheena, Collette, Tear... MANY characters.

Gundam was a gateway drug for me as was Sailor Moon.

Character: Selveria Bles from Valkyria Chronicles; Rise Kujikawa from Persona 4; Rose/Lyra from Fullmetal Alchemist; Lucas Clyne/Meer Campbell from Gundam SEED; Zatanna from DC Comics;

Just. Any of these characters. Particularly Selveria and Zatanna. Yes. Very yes.

What It Got Right

Favorite Artists: sleepymaid, nyuu (manekin-eko), hypnofood, modeseven, mindwipe (manipper)

Sleepy's work was so diverse when I first saw it and its probably what got me even more hooked to the fetish tbh, I found nyuu through hypnobooru and promptly followed them. I don't remember when I started following modeseven but I do love everything he draws, and of course mindwipe's manips are really great~ As for Hypnofood I haven't seen much of their work aside from what's on the booru but I really love their style as well.

Favorite Copyrights: original, super mario bros., pokemon, nintendo, ms paint adventures, homestuck

I love original characters ever since my early internet days with RPing with others, SMB is there only for Peach but I've loved the series since I was a kid, same with Pokemon. And I love MSPA/Homestuck a lot. Especially Jade.

Favorite Characters: princess peach, link, princess zelda, sabrina, yayoi kise

I actually used to hate Peach with every fiber in my being because she was always the rival NPC that would always try to overtake me in Mario Kart 64, but recently I've warmed up to her a lot, Link is either the biggest dork/cutie or really attractive like wow, as for Zelda though, she's kind a bit of a maybe because I only really like her rendition in Skyward Sword and Twilight Princess. Not much else to say about her though. I really like Sabrina in her HG/SS outfit A LOT like wow have you seen how cute she looks? And Yayoi is adorable though I like Makoto a lot better.

Unlike Hypnofood who has a lot of content on the site, I can't say I know much else about them. And as for Samus, I've only played like 3 Metroid games and as badass as she is, there's not much else I can say about her.

Favorite Artists: Sebastian, Myuk, Zko, kobi94. There are other artists that I enjoy, but apparently I haven't faved as many of them as I have the works of the above. Kind of surprised that TGOperator and Banshou didn't show up on this list, though.

Favorite Copyrights: Nintendo, Super Mario Bros., DC Comics, Legend of Zelda. I found this odd, considering that there are other series featured on here that I enjoy hypno pics for more, but the sheer amount of the above does make sense.

Favorite Characters: Samus Aran, Princess Zelda, Crystal (zko), Princess Peach, Hypno-tan. I enjoy a subby Samus and Zelda, Crystal is always fun, I really like Peach as dom or sub, and Hypno-tan is an obvious pick due to her being the mascot of the site. I would have thought that Princess Rosalina would have beaten out Peach on this list. Didn't see Morrigan or Arturia (Saber), though, which is odd.

Favorite Circles: TypeMoon. I'm a fan of the Fate franchise, so this makes sense.


What it got wrong:

Favorite Artists: Jimryu. While I do like several pics he's done in the past (namely the one with Motoko, Kitsune, and Naru from Love Hina, as well as some Sailor Moon stuff he's done), I'm in the same boat as others who put him in this category. He does so much that the sheer quantity he puts out results in this tag being up there. I don't hate his work, and I do feel that it's improved, but he's far from being one of my favorite hypno artists.

Favorite Copyrights: Pokemon. This one is...well, I think it has to do partly with Jimryu's stuff with Misty and other main female characters from the series, as well as said characters showing up in other works paired with unrelated characters. I'm typically not a fan of Pokemon when it comes to hypnosis pics due to getting a bestiality vibe from said works. The sole exception is when it's purely the female characters, like Misty, May, Dawn, Cynthia, etc., getting put into MC situations, and the Pokemon themselves are merely used to bring that outcome about before being set aside for human on human interaction. Though I'll admit there's some Gardevoir stuff that gives me a confused boner. >.o

Favorite Characters: Erika. The reason why she's in this list of mine is due to her OC being so prolific on the site and being in almost every comic or pic that features OCs. Her being on my Favorite Characters tag list is purely coincidental. Granted, there are some comics and pics featuring her that I like, but this is a case where the tag algorithms of the site aren't telling what my actual intent or tastes are, like the above issues with what my profile got wrong. And if you have to press me about whether I like Erika or not, I would have to honestly say I'm indifferent to the character.

Favorite Circles: Everything that's listed as of this post that isn't TypeMoon. I honestly have no clue what these other studios/groups are. >.>;
