The Invisibles --> Shygirls grandpa Quimper
So I was looking at all these Shygirl posts and going, jeez, why do they all seem so familiar. And then I realized they reminded me of this little guy called Quimper.

Just so you guys know, he is from a series of comics called 'The Invisibles' by Grant Morrison. The basic plot is: Imagine all of the conspiracy theories in the world. Now imagine they are real.

Mr. Quimper (yes, they actually call him that) is an out and out mind controller who will psychically implant himself into your consciousness and dominate you, even from miles away. He runs a strip club filled with women who claim to have had sex with aliens. In addition to him the series includes a bunch of weird and bizarre conspiracy theory bullshit which happens to include a healthy dose of mind control and strange sex. One of the team members on the hero's side is some kind of Central American Witch-Transvestite. They have a drug which makes the written word seem real... one villain was taken out by being dosed by this and subsequently given a mug that read 'Worlds Greatest Dad'.

It contains some images that are not for the faint of heart.

You'd be surprised at how many of them actually are.

They usually cannot be disproved. They are kind of like the viruses of truth: they aren't dead false, but they aren't alive and true either. They just reproduce over and over again.

I imagine it looks kind of like a dog chasing a tire. I'm glad someone's entertained.
