Uploading a Rosvo pic?
I've got a pic I commissioned from Rosvo of one of my OCs and he's said I can post it wherever (including my own gallery, FA, Tumblr and here) but as he's on the "Do Not Post" list would I have permission from the mods/admins to post the pic here or will it just be deleted as soon as I post it up?

Link to relevant pic anyway: locustshoes.tumblr.com/po...vo86-featuring-my-goth-oc

Sounds like the predicament I was in with one of the commissions he did for Bianca.

If I were you, I'd send a note to Vanndril and to Rosvo just to make sure that everything's okay. I ultimately decided not to post the finished commission, as I didn't want to potentially burn bridges with Rosvo, even if he okayed it the first time. Granted, this was before HypnoHub was even a thing, so he might have changed his mind since then.

It's up to you and your discretion, ultimately. If you can't post it, there's a thread I created where you can link the pic, and where members can discuss lesser-known OCs. Of course, you could post it there anyway and brag about how great she is. ;)

For now I'll say no on the grounds of avoiding conditional blacklists and confusing people as to why a rosvo tag exists (or confusion as to whether or not they can be uploaded).

Hm... This same predicament arose in the past. A user asked if they could upload their commission from a blacklisted artist who had previously okayed sharing said commission anywhere. I was rather on the fence about it at the time.

But now that I've had more than ample time to consider it... I apologize, but I'm going to have to say no. The potential for problems and confusion from the additional complexity of making an exception to the blacklist is too much to warrant allowing it.

I do hate changing my mind like this, since last time this was asked I was going to let it skirt on by (which never happened anyway). But it would just be too likely to cause problems.

You know, you can just say that it was me. I'm fine with it. Unless i'm one of the more recent ones, in which case I'M NOT SPECIAL AT ALL. D:

But I ultimately didn't post the commission due to how it would create more problems.

Why is he blacklisted anyways?

Personal request. If an artist asks for a Do Not Post then they are blacklisted.

Huh. random thought.

A possible way to allow strictly commissions from artists that have given their permission to users to post the images anywhere [even if they are a dnp artist] is to add a 'commission' tag.

Thought the same
Why not add the tag "rosvo_(commission)" so to avoid confusion with the normal tag?

Theoretically if you have Rosvo as one tag
and commission as another, it would already say that it was a commission.

And could easy add in a rule that you cannot add in commissions, UNLESS you either are the artist and it was a commissiont hat you did for someone OR you commissioned it FROM an artist. Like... you, specifically.

It'd be a possible way to allow people to post what is allowed, but also keep the stuff from the artists really starting to pour in. And should, theoretically, help with the confusion that could come from just allowing.

Van~ Just give it somet hough.
