I understand that the main cast is an underage schoolgirl, an ambiguously gay middle aged man, and a Painting of a girl come to life, but I'm honestly surprised that nothing's come up, especially with Mary's... obsessiveness... yeah, lets call it that...

A RPG maker survival horror game. Title is just that, Ib.

I thought he was more of a young adult then a middle aged man.

I guess we don't have any pics of it because it's too obscure of a title, not because it has gay people and loli in it. Just head over to the search box and see for yourself, there are plenty of AA and AAA video game series that have zero content on this site (e.g. Dark Souls is damn popular even in the MC community and we still only got two pages on here, one being one of my manips).

I wouldn't call Garry middle aged. Definitely on the younger side. And I don't think "gay" has any evidence one way or the other.

It's more so in the original translation. Japanese can be used to tell that sort of thing much more subtly than in English, so that part was pretty much completely dropped.

I only remember Ib from watching Pewdiepie play it years ago. That and Mad Father and The Wtich's House.

Also, please, no ranting about Pewdiepie. I'm just making a comment about being familiar with the game through an LP.

I was kinda shocked at the lack of Indie Horror Games content considering a lot of them either have Yandere themes from some of the characters or subtle hints of mind control. Example being in Ib where at one point, these blue dolls start showing up in the gallery. Ib sees them as bunnies due to the mental stress of the gallery, while later Gary can be captured by the 'leader' of the blue dolls, being driven crazy or tranced via hypnosis. Then later towards the end in one of the endings, Ib see's her mother and follows her slowly like she is in a trance, with it being shown that the mother is actually never there. I've actually been working on a couple of one shots that involves hypno in Ib.
