Hypno Cloud Storage?
So over time I've amassed a collection of hypno perversion from here and there, but I'm starting to become more conscious about the frailty of my HDDs.

Anyone know any cloud services where I could store my ill goods without violating their ToS for it being perverted swirly-eyed stuff?

Alas, I do not. Otherwise I'd be doing much the same. <.<

Just buy a NAS unit and some 5400 rpm drives (not Seagates). For ultimate peace of mind, Spideroak use zero-knowledge cloud storage (they encrypt everything locally before you send it to their servers so they don't know what you're saving) but they're fiddly and I don't know how big your collection is.

1: My Passport Ultra is a very nice external HDD that I am a big fan of. It's a bit pricey, but can store up to 1 terabyte, is compatible with USB 3.0, and is both very sturdy and very easy to DIY repair in the event that something comes unseated. The only problem is that if you're using USB 2.0, large files are prone to corruption, but if you're just transferring over a few images, it should be fine.

2: If someone else has a computer on the same network and they hardly use any of the storage, you can always just connect through the LAN and keep all your stuff in their common folder :P

I have nearly 300GB of Storage on Google Drive, and it hasn't failed me yet. I hope that since it's a private folder, that Google can't fuck me over and have to move my stuff over. Cause I'm not doing that lol.

So since the thread has already been brought back from the dead I want to quickly chime in since I recently have done some research on cloud storage providers.

If you are after privacy, as far as I researched, Mega is your best choice. They actually have end to end encryption and give you the only private key to decrypt your data (or at least so they claim, can't give any guarantees that this is actually true.)
The only downside I've found with mega is that since they are based in New Zealand their server coverage in Europe is not the greatest and as such the speed can be a little slow. Not like completely unbearable but to the point that it is noticeable. That being said, for reference, when I migrated my stuff to their servers it took me about 1 week (5-6 days) to transfer my 1,5 TB. If that is too slow or just fine speed-wise for your needs I'll leave up to you dear reader.

As for gdrive, I would not really trust it as they confirm themselves that they do run a scan on all files uploaded to their servers. They claim its only to determine what type of file it is, i.e image or text or executable, but, its google... There are however multiple softwares that integrate with google drive that allows you to create encrypted files on google drive and that handle the uploading and downloading of files meaning that the files are encrypted before being uploaded to google drive and decrypted after being downloaded again. This would ensure that google can't see what you are storing without spending massive amounts of compute on trying to decrypt your files, which I don't think they'd ever bother doing.
There are multiple solutions but they one I bumped into was I think boxcryptor, either stand alone or used with cyber duck (or mountain duck, I mix up the two).

I'd just go for a NAS with a password.

Omg I didn't mean to bump such an old thread. Some reason I saw it and didn't realize it was 5 years old.
